Purpose:
To seek approval for the Council to formally
accept the full terms and conditions of the Future High Streets
Fund grant funding agreement.
Decision:
- Approved that the Council enters
into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Housing,
Communities and Local Government to formally accept the grant offer
from the Future High Streets Fund of £15,760,196 and its
associated terms and conditions that applies to the financial year
2021-2022.
- Approved that the Council enters
into a further Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of
Housing, Communities and Local Government as necessary to enable
the provision of grant from the Future High Streets Fund for future
years from 2022-2023 onwards.
