The council requires a contingency disposal
contract to provide reassurance that in the case of interruption of
operation of the Energy from Waste plant that the kerbside
collections of residual waste across the city will not be
affected.
1. Authorised the award of the Contingency Waste Disposal contract to Associated Waste Management Ltd, Leeds, LS27 7NA, for the initial period of 2 Years from 12th February 2025, with the option to extend for a further 1 year period up to the total value of £445,500.00.
