Charlotte Johns, Head of Transformation presented the quarter one corporate performance report for 2015/16.  She highlighted the three measures that were currently rated red and were therefore underperforming.

 

In response to comments made the Head of Transformation undertook to feed back to the Policy Team the observation that the typeface used in the Corporate performance report was too small.  She also reported that the information on appraisals would be available in the quarter two performance monitoring report.

 

Cllr Val Gibson informed the Panel that the performance measure ’Looked After Children’ was now rated amber and that the numbers of LAC had stabilised and currently stood at 715.  The figure was on a downward trajectory.

 

Resolved:

That the performance on the corporate performance indicators for quarter one 2015/16 be received and noted.

Anna Zollino-Biscotti, Information Governance Manager presented the quarter one performance report on Information Governance.  Performance on Freedom of Information (FOI) response rates was at 100% and the Subject Access Request (SAR) response rate was at 98% for the quarter.

 

Resolved:

          That the quarter one 2015/16 performance for Information Governance be received and noted.

Viv Griffin, Service Director Disability and Mental Health presented the 2014/15 Adult Social Care Local Account.  This was Wolverhampton’s fifth Local Account, which was a retrospective review of the key developments, achievements and performance over the course of the year.  It also set out planned priorities for the next two years.

 

Cllr Paul Sweet commented that the document was well written and easy to read and understand.

 

Cllr Steve Evans placed on record his thanks to all employees who had contributed to the delivery of services and the many achievements mentioned in the Local Account 2014/15.

 

Resolved:

That the 2014/15 Adult Social Care Local Account be formally accepted.
