Michelle James, Licensing Policy Manager, presented a report asking Members to:

 

  1. Consider and approve the fees and charges proposed to provide the service for the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018.

 

  1. Agree to the proposed changes in the Scheme of Delegation.

 

  1. Note the implementation of the new Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018.

 

Members discussed the new regime and the Licensing Policy Manager answered any questions they had.

 

Councillor Brackenridge withdrew from the meeting at 1100 hours.

 

Resolved:

That Members of the Licensing Committee:

 

  1. Considered and approved the fees and charges proposed to provide the service for the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018.

 

  1. Agreed to the proposed changes in the Scheme of Delegation.
