Decisions

1. Approved the award of a contract for service to The Haven Wolverhampton, to the value of £400,902 to enhance support for victims of domestic abuse and their children within safe accommodation.
2. Approved the creation of Service Level Agreement with Wolverhampton Homes to the value of £250,000 to enhance support for victims of domestic abuse and their children accessing the Safer Homes (sanctuary) scheme. 

1.     Approved additional Healthy Homes Assistance funding over the usual maximum assistance amount under the Private Sector Housing Assistance Policy. Approval is permitted by consideration by the Cabinet Member via an Individual Executive Decision Notice under the terms of the Policy.

2.     Approved that a land registry legal charge be applied to the property in respect of the value of the works to enable the Council to recover the costs incurred upon sale or change of ownership of the property.

1. Approved use of the Additional Restrictions Grant to support, where needed, the mandatory Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Grant.

That the Contract for Cash in Transit Services to the organisation detailed in the report for a duration of four years from 1^st November 2021 to 31^st October 2025 for a total contract value of £322,750.36 be awarded.

1.     [Approved the creation of supplementary revenue budgets totalling £3,600 fully funded by a grant from Westhill Endowment/NASACRE to fund a project with schools in the city to develop Religious Education resources.]

Approved the conditional sale of the Council’s long leasehold interest (250 year) in 6.02 hectares (14.88 acres) land at Bilston Urban Village East (outlined in the plan at Appendix 1) to Bidder C which will be due upon obtaining a satisfactory planning consent and clear title.  Terms of the sale will be agreed as per Recommendation 3 below.

2. Authorised the Director of Regeneration to agree the terms of conditional sale with an underbidder in the event that the above recommended land transaction with Bidder C does not proceed to exchange.

3. Authorised the Director of Regeneration to negotiate and agree final detailed sale terms (and form of the 250 year lease) in consultation with the Director of Finance and Deputy Leader: Inclusive City Economy and to satisfy the accounting treatments required in the form of the lease.

4. Authorised the Director of Regeneration to instruct external legal advisers, Shoosmiths to negotiate, execute and complete all relevant legal documentation to give effect to the above recommendations.]

1.   [Approved the recommended action to implement waiting and loading restrictions to parts of Goldthorn Hill and Wolverhampton Road East (Plan T4/4409C).

2.   Approved the proposed revocation (in part) of existing Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) in Goldthorn Hill and Wolverhampton Road East where necessary to allow the implementation of the new TROs.

3.   Authorised the Director of Governance to implement the relevant traffic regulation orders.]
