An opportunity has arisen to secure major artists for appearances in the city, however this commercial decision is time sensitive, and the Council is required to move quickly.

This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
Following receipt of recommendations from a Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO) enquiry regarding free transport to school for eligible children in care, further challenge has been received from the LGSCO regarding the rate of mileage that the City of Wolverhampton Council proposed to pay foster carers. Further legal advice has been sought and this matter needs to be reconsidered by Cabinet in March 2020 to comply with timescales set by the LGSCO.
