A Peer Challenge of the Council’s Adult Social Care services was undertaken as part of the West Midlands Association of Directors of Adult Social Services programme in March 2016. An Action Plan was developed and implemented. A final visit as part of the 16/17 process was made in march 2017 and very positive feedback was received from Mr Peter Hay, Strategic Director in Birmingham City Council and lead Peer Review Director.
