Purpose:

In accordance with the previously approved Service Strategy, this IEDN seeks approval for the Council to sign a Self Lay Agreement for water mains and service pipes which will be undertaken by Harlaxton and also seeks approval for the Council to sign all associated Wayleave Agreements for the installation of pipes, wires and conduits across Council owned land in relation to the supply of water, gas, electricity and any third party communications as required to deliver serviced platforms on the i54 Western Extension.

Decision:

1.    Approved that the City of Wolverhampton Council as landowner enters into Self Lay Agreement with Staffordshire County Council, Severn Trent Water, Amey and Harlaxton for the installation of water mains and service pipes that is the contestable element of the Severn Trent Water work scope which will be undertaken by Harlaxton.

2.    Approved that the City of Wolverhampton Council enters into all associated Wayleave Agreements with relevant parties for the installation of pipes, wires and conduits across City of Wolverhampton Council owned land in relation to the supply of water, gas, electricity and any third-party communications as required to deliver serviced platforms on the i54 western extension.
