Approval to purchase leasehold property on
Ellerton Walk to assist with the regeneration of the New Park
Village estate.
1. Approved the completion of the purchase of the former council property listed in Appendix 1 at the agreed price of £72,500 plus Home Loss and disturbance compensation.
Cabinet (Resources) Panel on 17 February 2021, approved the delegation of authority to the Cabinet Member for City Assets and Housing, in consultation with the Director of City Housing, to agree the expenditure on individual property purchases, including payment Home Loss and Disturbance payments, using the Land Compensation Act 1973 as a basis for compensation payments.
2. Authorised the Director of Governance or other authorised officers to execute legal documentation to put the purchases into effect.
