Following an open bidding round for existing
ERDF supported projects to bid for additional ERDF grant to expand
and extend the lifetime of projects, the Councils bid for
additional ERDF grant of £2,059,551 for the AIM for GOLD
Project has been successful. This will increase the number of
businesses that can apply for grant investment support and other
non financial support. The life time of the project will also been
extended by 12 months, i.e. the end date is now 31/3/23
1. Authorised the Council to sign the variation to the funding agreement attached at Appendix 2 which, will allow the Council to accept the £2,059,551 additional ERDF the Council has successfully bid for.
2. Authorised the Council to vary the existing legal agreements with the other 3 Black Country Local Authorities who are the delivery partners on the AIM for GOLD Programme to reflect the variation in recommendation 1 above.
3. Approved the creation of the required supplementary capital and revenue budgets in accordance with the variation to funding document, fully funded by the ERDF grant.
