The purpose of this paper is to provide the
history and current position surrounding the media wall land
transfer / option.
1. Relinquished the Council’s option by authorising it to enter into a deed of variation on the Media Wall site on the basis that it enables the Cycle Hub facility to be delivered and the remaining site area no longer represents a viable development opportunity.
2. Endorsed the strategy, subject to future report and appropriate business case, to pursue the opportunity for a media / green wall to be fixed directly to the MSCP façade with Network Rail on the basis that this will significantly improve the impression of arriving in Wolverhampton upon exiting the new station.
