The Council require nine gritting vehicles for
29 weeks per year to include maintenance. This will be for a
four-year contract period.
The council has a statutory requirement to ensure, so far as is
reasonably practicable, that safe passage along a highway is not
endangered by snow or ice.
1. Approved the award of the contract for Winter Maintenance Vehicles to Econ Engineering Limited of Boroughbridge Rd, Ripon HG4 1UE for the duration of four years from 05 October 2020 to 04 October 2024.
